How to match a part number
Two recoils can look identical on the shelf and differ in pawl design, rope length, and cup depth — go by the number, not the picture. Find the engine model on the crankcase stamp or shroud decal, then match the OEM number on your old part to the number in the listing. Honda numbers carry the engine family in the middle — Z4M for GX120/160/200, Z5K for GX240/270, Z5T for GX340/390 — so the number itself confirms fitment. The same rule holds on cut-off saws: a TS420 and a TS700 recoil are different parts, and the Husqvarna K750 takes its own.
